Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking to hire an experienced Business Developer to join Al Sharq Academia team. The duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Working with both the Academia team and clients to develop and execute sales and business development strategies
  • Analyze the territory /market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Coordinating with the Academia Director and team to deliver high-quality sales and marketing services
  • Running full sales processes, from prospecting to close
  • Prospect and qualify new sales leads
  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
  • Analyzing Academia programs’ performance and championing new initiatives based on quantitative results
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company products
  • Track all sales activities in company CRM system
  • Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers
  • Meet and/or exceed quotas
  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort

Job Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of progressive, professional experience into a range of verticals and companies
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, international development or another relevant field
  • Strong sales and/or marketing skills
  • Strong communicator
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic
